Announced in Fall 2025, the AI Task Force is being formed by the Office of the Provost.

The AI Hub Discussion Group is a community of people at Western who are actively exploring AI and are excited and/or concerned about its prospects. We are looking at the possibilities, challenges, and best practices around Artificial Intelligence.

The Critical AI Literacies Collective (CALC) is an interdisciplinary faculty & staff collective that aims to teach and learn about the wide-ranging global impacts of generative AI from critical perspectives so that we may all build life-affirming futures together, on this planet. This year-long faculty fellows program is focused on writing, research, and AI in the context of writing proficiency courses.
